Guild Wars 2 US server brings us a patch to us recently. This update is mainly about bug fixing. Please view the patch notes.  Balance and bug fixingFixed the Heralds so they will tell the tale of Southsun Cove.Fixed a bug causing waypoints on Southsun Shore to remain locked when they shouldn’t be.Fixed issues that were potential causes of server latency in Crab Toss.Fixed Cragstead and North Nolan Hatchery to appear in their post-Flame and Frost states.Flame and Frost’s Victory Bonfires in Lion’s Arch, Hoelbrak & Black Citadel will remain until May 28th. Interacting with them will allow A Rallying Flame to be completed.Fixed a bug with Dodge roll where it could get stuck in the queue and unintentionally execute after a stun or immobilize.Collision has been updated on the World vs. World Burning Oil Pot. Players will once again be able to burn the enemies at the gate.Fixed a bug with the animation with Sclerite Karka Shell.Fixed a bug with missing upgrade slots on PvP Sclerite weapons.

With the update of Guild Wars 2 The Secret of Southsun, as the Epilogue of Flame & Frost, a Rallying Flame disappeared. Players can receive achievement by visiting the bonfires. However, the event lasts for only two days. Many players complained that they didn’t have enough time to complete the achievement. ArenaNet posted on the community, saying that the bonfires would be put back in the game and would remain in-game until May 28, so players who missed out can get the Rallying Flame achievement. Original Post

In NCsoft’s earning call for the first quarter of 2013, Nah Seong Chan, Managing Director of NCsoft revealed some information of the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 developed by ArenaNet. He said: “we are preparing an expansion pack but in terms of when we will actually launch it, it's something we are still monitoring... We are looking to the performance of the game and then we will decide what will be the best time to do the launch.”  According to NCsoft's earnings report of Q1, Guild Wars 2 makes a profit of KRW 34.7 billion for NCsoft. Though the sales potential is still evaluated as “strong”, one-time purchase and in-game micro-transaction restrain the subsequent profit of the game. The game saw a decrease in sales compared to the fourth quarter of 2012. To boost the sales, I believe the official announcement and the launch of the expansion won’t be too far away.
